West Michigan Mid-Sixties Bands
I played bass and sang for Touchstone, 1969-71. Neil Harding, Mark Hallman, Randy Underwood, John Blowers. We had a lot of fun during those years. Some of us lived in a house on Grand Avenue in Kalamazoo. Anyone have old photos? We we enjoying ourselves and livin' in the moment. We never thought to document any of our shows. Everyone in the band is still playing music today. Mark is a very successful record producer and studio owner in Austin, Texas. Neil is still making music all around Southwestern Michigan and is an incredible singer/songwriter/guitarist. Randy is an MD and sings and plays beautifully, as he always did. John is a very successful painter and performs musically with his wife Rosie. I live in the S.F. Bay Area and record and perform with a number of artists - Volker Strifler, Liz Kennedy, and Lucas Ohio Pattie - here in Northern California.
