I hired the Phlegethon to play for a high school dance at Forest Hills in the Multi-Purpose Room. They were what we called "heavy" back in those days. I guess that meant loud and percussive and creating a trance :} I thought I was really being hip and turning the people that go to the dances on to the real thing. It was fun for me. Not sure anyone else noticed :)

I would just like to know if the tune: You're no good was written by Phlegathon. Thanks

No, "You're No Good" is an old Betty Everett song.

A better question would be, what famous beatnik really wrote the lyrics to Phlegethon's "The Sun"... (anyone?... anyone?...)

I don't remember where I first heard Last Voyage Home. It could have been on WGRD or WLAV (after they turned from oldies to progressive). I loved the song, but there was no way to get it. I happened to think about it 5 yrs ago or so and searched the internet. I found that it was going to be released on CD and now I have it.
