Posted by: Jake at October 30, 2004 07:34 AMI hired the Phlegethon to play for a high school dance at Forest Hills in the Multi-Purpose Room. They were what we called "heavy" back in those days. I guess that meant loud and percussive and creating a trance :} I thought I was really being hip and turning the people that go to the dances on to the real thing. It was fun for me. Not sure anyone else noticed :)

Posted by: Dan Matthews at September 17, 2007 04:38 AMNo, "You're No Good" is an old Betty Everett song.
A better question would be, what famous beatnik really wrote the lyrics to Phlegethon's "The Sun"... (anyone?... anyone?...)

Posted by: diane cummings at October 22, 2009 03:20 PMI don't remember where I first heard Last Voyage Home. It could have been on WGRD or WLAV (after they turned from oldies to progressive). I loved the song, but there was no way to get it. I happened to think about it 5 yrs ago or so and searched the internet. I found that it was going to be released on CD and now I have it.
